Unleashed Daycare Policy (Updated May 2024)

                   ***The health and safety of your dog is our top priority. ***

-We reserve the right to refuse a pet at check in for any reason including, without limitation, if it appears your pet is sick, injured or in pain or that its behavior could jeopardize the health and/or safety of other pets and our staff.

-We reserve the right to refuse service to you if you have not followed our policies or procedures.

-If your dog(s) exhibit behaviors that could jeopardize the health and/or safety of other pets and/or staff, you and/or your emergency contact must immediately pick up your pet.

-If your dog(s) is ill or becomes ill and this could jeopardize the health and/or safety of other pets and/or staff, you and/or your emergency contact must immediately pick up your pet.

-Your emergency contact must be able to make decisions for your pet.  Please make sure they are available to pick up your pet at a moment’s notice.

-You must have a valid credit card on file in order for us to care for your dog.

Prior to entry: Your dog, regardless of age, must be up to date on all required vaccinations, and you have provided us with the proper documentation. 

-We do not accept dogs who cannot receive these vaccinations. 

-We do not accept Titer’s tests and we do not administer vaccinations. 

-Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian at least 72 hours prior to check in time.                             -We do not accept vaccinations that have not been administered by a licensed veterinarian. 

Dogs over the age of 12 months must be neutered/spayed

-We do not accept dogs in heat or about to go into heat in our facility. 

-If your dog goes into heat while in our care, you will be charged an additional inconvenience fee of $250.00 and be expected to immediately pick up your pet.  

Dogs must complete a temperament test prior to all reservations.

-This includes new clients and previous clients who have not been in our facility for at least 6 months. 

-This must be done for the safety of our clients and staff. 

-This test cannot be administered on the day of your reservation. 

-We want to make sure our facility is the correct fit for your dog. 

-This test will last 15 minutes-3 hours depending on your dog’s level of socialization.

Photo/Video/Media

We reserve the right to use photographs, video footage and any other media of your pet taken during their stay. 

-These images may be used for all forms of marketing materials. 

-Live security video is running 24/7.

 

Medications

-All medications must be in a container with a current prescription label from your veterinarian. 

-Supplements not labeled for animals or not prescribed by a veterinarian will only be given with your permission and you assume responsibility for their use. 

-We do not administer injections of any kind. 

-No needles on site.

*In the event you did not disclose at check in that your dog takes medications and we determine that we are unqualified to handle the medications you must immediately pick up your pet. You will not receive a refund.  We reserve the right to refuse to give medications of any kind if we feel we aren’t qualified.  We are not a veterinarian service.

All payments, deposits, packages, and memberships are nonrefundable.  We have a zero-refund policy.

- Even if, in the worst-case scenario, your dog displays behaviors that jeopardize our staff and client’s health and/or safety and are asked to be removed from Unleashed, all payments, deposits, packages, and memberships are nonrefundable

Cancellation policy:

-If you cancel for any reason, at any time, please know we do not issue refunds.  There are no fees for cancellations. 

-We do not offer service outside of our normal business hours.

Daycare: We are open Mon-Fri 8:30-6p. 

We do not offer daycare on Saturday or Sunday

-Pets not picked up by 6 pm will automatically be charged 25$ per 10 minutes until picked up.  We do not offer boarding.

Abandonment:

-If you are unable to pick up your dog at checkout, we will make every effort to contact you and your emergency contact. 

-If unavailable, we will keep your pet at your expense for three days.  Please know we do not offer boarding, as this will be a huge inconvenience to us, we will charge a $250 inconvenience fee each night your dog is not picked up.  You will be charged immediately at the close of each day for all charges accrued for every day you do not pick up your dog.

-During those three days we will make every effort to contact you and your emergency contact by the means you have given us. 

-If we still have not received any information from you or your emergency contact, we will deliver your pet, at our discretion, to animal control, humane society or rehome your pet ourselves.

-You will be charged immediately for the full amount due and all charges you have incurred during your pet’s stay as well as an inconvenience fee of $250.00 for each night we have had to care for your pet.

-If the pet is deemed abandoned by local, state, or federal law you release Unleashed from all further liabilities and responsibilities for your pet. 

-You shall remain liable to Unleashed for all unpaid charges, including court costs, collection fees and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in the collection of charges.

Food and Personal Items

Please bring your own dog’s food in a sealed container or Ziploc bag.  (Please don't bring the entire bag of food)

 -Refrigerated food must be pre-measured and in a sealed container or Ziploc bag.

Payment is due in full at original check out date and time.  We accept major credit cards and cash. Checks are accepted only for established clients.

-If your check is returned, there is a $50 inconvenience fee on top of the bank fees incurred.

-You shall remain liable to Unleashed for all unpaid charges. Including the court costs, collection fees, and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in the collection of charges.

Personal Items:

-Please do not bring items with your pet that are invaluable or irreplaceable.

-Unleashed is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items or toys left with your pet, or any items that may be left behind at pickup.

-If we run out of supplies (ie. Medication, food) for your pet, we will purchase items at your expense.

-If your dog destroys any property of Unleashed during their stay, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for charges incurred to replace such items.

Boarding: (All Daycare rules apply)

We do not offer boarding at our facility.

The owner on occasion offers boarding ONLY to established daycare clients and ONLY at her discretion.  These clients have shown they are capable and nonreactive around young children with disabilities and the owner's personal life. 

-No refunds or credits will be issued for early returns.

Veterinary Release Form

The State of MT requires all clients to complete a Veterinary Release Form. (24.225.410)

 

In the event of an emergency, Unleashed will make every attempt to contact the owner and the emergency contact on their way to the pet’s own veterinarian or the emergency vet. (We use Sentinel Vet on S. Reserve)

In the event no contact can be reached, Unleashed will seek appropriate medical care for your pet.  Unleashed will make every attempt to take your pet to the Veterinarian listed in your profile on Paw Partner, however if your veterinarian is unavailable, Unleashed will take your pet to Sentinel Vet Emergency Services on S. Reserve.

I authorize Unleashed to seek appropriate medical treatment for my pet.  I give my permission to Unleashed to approve treatment up to:

I authorize Unleashed and the Veterinarian caring for my pet to share all medical records of my pet.

I authorize Unleashed and the Veterinarian I have listed that cares for my pet to share all medical records of my pet with the emergency vet clinic in an effort to provide the best care possible. 

I agree to assume full responsibility for payment and reimbursement for any and all veterinary services rendered.

A $25.00 transportation fee is charged for all trips to and from any veterinary visits.

I understand that Unleashed assumes no responsibility for the loss or injury of any pet and is released from all liability related to transportation, treatment, and expenses.

This agreement is valid from the date below and grants permission for all future veterinary care without additional authorization each time Unleashed cares for my pet.
